Info Beasiswa Description:

The position is integrated in the subproject ‘Elucidation of anaerobic benzene and alkylated aromatic compound degradation pathways and associated proteins by proteomic and metabolomic analyses’. The project aims to detect key proteins and metabolites involved in anaerobic benzene and alkylated compound degradation. Methods used will include anaerobic cultivation, protein preparation and LC-MS/MS analyses of proteins (LTQ Orbitrap MS). The detection of the active species and the catabolic enzymes in enrichment cultures will be carried out by Protein-Stable Isotope Probing (Protein-SIP) experiments (Jehmlich et al., 2010, Nature Protocols, 5,1957-1966). A total metabolomic screening of the culture as well as specific CoA-Ester identifications will be performed by Q-TOF MS or LTQ Orbitrap MS.

Around 1,500 students from different countries all over the world are presently attending Kyushu University. Of this number, around 140 students belong to the Faculty of Agriculture, mostly graduate students. With the university being chosen as one of the venues for the Global 30 project, the Faculty of Agriculture is launching its newest undergraduate program? The International Undergraduate Program at the Department of Bioresource and Bioenvironment, School of Agriculture.

Eligibility
Nationality: Applicants must be nationals of a country that has diplomatic relations with the Japanese government.
Age Limit: Applicants must be under 35 years old as of April 1, 2012 (i.e., born after April 2, 1977).

Apa Saja Cakupan Beasiswa Prestasi Bosowa?

Beasiswa Prestasi Bosowa adalah beasiswa penuh (full scholarship). Adapun besaran beasiswa disesuaikan dengan perguruan tinggi dan daerah tempat kuliah masing-masing penerima beasiswa. Beasiswa ini diberikan untuk jangka waktu tidak lebih dari 9 semester akademis S1.

Beasiswa penuh diberikan yang mencakup hal – hal sebagai berikut :
1. Biaya pendaftaran ke perguruan tinggi dimana pendaftar telah diterima.
2. Biaya SPP/BOP setiap semester sesuai dengan nilai yang telah ditetapkan oleh perguruan tinggi yang bersangkutan.
3. Uang saku untuk mendukung biaya hidup selama masa kuliah.
4. Tunjangan buku untuk pembelian buku yang dibutuhkan selama masa kuliah.
5. Tunjangan penelitian, untuk mendanai penelitian yang dilakukan saat masa akhir kuliah.

Siapa Saja yang Dapat Mendaftar?

Penerima Beasiswa Prestasi Bosowa adalah siswa/siswi tamatan tahun pelajaran 2009/2010 SMA/sederajat yang lulus atau diterima di salah satu jurusan dari perguruan tinggi yang ditunjuk oleh Bosowa Corporation khususnya untuk kelas reguler melalui Sistem Penerimaan Mahasiswa Baru (SPMB/UMPTN/UMB) yang dilaksanakan oleh pemerintah ataupun Perguruan Tinggi yang bersangkutan.

Persyaratan umum untuk mendapatkan Beasiswa Prestasi Bosowa:
1. Warga Negara Indonesia
2. Memiliki nilai akademik minimum rata – rata 8.0 selama masa SMA/sederajat.
3. Pada saat pengajuan lamaran beasiswa, tidak sedang mengikuti kuliah di Perguruan Tinggi manapun.
4. Merupakan siswa/siswi tamatan tahun pelajaran 2009/2010 dan mendapatkan rekomendasi dari sekolah masing-masing.
5. Setelah lulus pada tahap seleksi, para finalis harus diterima di salah satu Perguruan Tinggi serta fakultas / jurusan yang ditunjuk oleh Bosowa Foundation khususnya untuk kelas reguler melalui Sistem Penerimaan Mahasiswa Baru yang dilaksanakan oleh pemerintah ataupun Perguruan Tinggi yang bersangkutan.

Bagaimana Seleksi Beasiswa Prestasi Bosowa Dilaksanakan?

Untuk mendapatkan program beasiswa ini, siswa/siswi berprestasi harus memenuhi persyaratan yang diajukan oleh Bosowa Foundation dan lulus pada tahapan penjaringan dan pada akhirnya lulus atau diterima di salah satu jurusan dari perguruan tinggi yang ditunjuk oleh Bosowa Corporation. Ada tiga tahapan seleksi yang harus dilalui oleh calon penerima beasiswa, yaitu tes potensi akademik dan tes psikotest/wawancara. Tahapan akhir adalah seleksi SPMB/ UMPTN/UMB.

Pada setiap proses seleksi yang dilaksanakan, panitia seleksi Beasiswa Prestasi Bosowa Foundation akan mengumumkan hasil seleksi dengan menghubungi peserta seleksi yang dinyatakan lulus. Informasi diberikan baik secara langsung melalui telepon dan maupun melalui sekolah yang bersangkutan. Panitia seleksi tidak menerima korespondensi selama proses seleksi berlangsung.

Untuk pendaftaran harus melalui rekomendasi sekolah masing masing dengan mencantumkan :
• Nama Siswa/Siswi
• Kelas / jurusan
• Nilai akademik minimum rata-rata selama sekolah ditingkat SMA

Seleksi I (Tes Potensi Akademik):

Pengumuman/informasi mengenai peserta yang berhak untuk mengikuti Seleksi I (Tes Potensi Akademik) akan dihubungi melalui telepon dan informasi ke sekolah masing-masing.

Tes Potensi Akademik dilakukan untuk mengukur kemampuan potensi akademik peserta yang dilaksanakan di kota-kota tertentu yang dipilih berdasarkan efektifitas jarak tempuh tempat pelaksanaan seleksi dengan kota/daerah peserta seleksi. Pelaksanaan Seleksi I (Tes Potensi Akademik) akan dilakukan di lima daerah yaitu Bulukumba, Bone, Palopo, Parepare, dan Makassar.

Seleksi psikotest dilaksanakan untuk melakukan pendalaman terhadap karakter dan kepribadian peserta seleksi, sedangkan wawancara dilakukan untuk mendalami orientasi peserta sebelum ditetapkan kelulusan dalam proses seleksi beasiswa.

Setelah dinyatakan lulus pada pada ujian masuk perguruan tinggi (SPMB/UMPTN/UMB) peserta harus secepatnya melaporkan diri pada panitia seleksi Beasiswa Prestasi Bosowa Foundation agar segera dikordinasi untuk persiapan pendaftaran ulang di Perguruan Tinggi yang bersangkutan.

Eligibility: Transcripts shall be submitted for all undergraduate and graduate programs attended. All transcripts must be original and official documents. Unofficial transcripts, copies of transcripts, or e-mailed transcripts will not be accepted. Transcripts must be in English or accompanied by a version translated in English. Translations must be literal and complete versions of the original transcripts. Translations shall be performed by a university, government official or official translation service. The translation shall be attested or signed by the translator. Applicants may not submit self-translation. Courses must be described in detail. The general subject name (e.g., “mathematics”) is not sufficient; the particular subject (e.g., “differential equations,” “algebraic topology”) must be identified. Transcripts shall include an explanation of the grading scale if different from the 4.0 scale used in the U.S. Translations shall include grades based on an A, B, C, D scale where A is 90-100, B is 80-89, C is 70-79, D is 60-69, and F is 59 or less. Transcripts should be mailed directly from the university. Transcripts mailed by the student must be sealed in an envelope with a university stamp over the seal. Transcripts shall reach the scholarship coordinator no later than October 7, 2011

Scholarship Description: Candidates completing studies for their bachelor’s degree from an accredited program may apply for this award. Based on essays, submitted data, and recommendations, the Scholarship Council of the ACl Foundation, a subsidiary of ACI, selects a scholarship recipient who appears to have the strongest combination of interest and potential for professional success in the concrete industry. This undergraduate scholarship consists of a cash stipend of $3000 (U.S.) for a 1 year period. The stipend will be sent to the financial aid office of the institution designated by the applicant where the study program will be pursued. These funds will then be deposited into the recipient’s university account.

Scholarship 2011 Description: The following text will give you information to prepare and submit your application to the Call for Proposals within the Networking Pilot Programme (NPP) of New INDIGO. If questions arise or you want to check the eligibility of your consortium, please contact the NPP Secretariat or your National Contact Point. o European participating partners can apply for a maximum of 10 % (depending on national regulations) of the budget in a flexible mode as “other costs”.

These costs could consist of small equipment, consumables and other project related miscellaneous expenses. Indian participating partners can apply for a non-fixed maximum of personnel and minor equipment costs, as long as the funding for internationalisation of research is not diminished.The NPP follows the “juste retour” principle, which means national funding will be assigned to participants of that respective country. Researchers participating in a multinational project therefore receive funding from their national representative, in accordance with the national regulations.

Scholarship Description: As part of the Career Development Program, the EHA Partner Fellowship Program is dedicated to young hematologists from new accession and European Union candidate countries and developing countries. To facilitate development of a collaborative network between hematology institutes in Western Europe and new accession and candidate countries of the EU and developing countries.To support the career development of young scientists from new accession or EU candidate countries and developing countries who are involved in basic and clinical research in hematology by facilitating opportunities to work at host institutes in Western Europe.

A maximum of 2 awards will be granted.
Funding is for a maximum of 3 years at € 35.000 per year, which includes:
€ 10.000 per year to the host institute to cover administrative, facilities, supplies, travel and/or housing costs related to the recipient’s project.A salary of € 25.000 per year for the recipient, to be paid through the home institute.

Scholarship Description: The International Max Planck Research School (IMPRS) “The Exploration of Ecological Interactions with Molecular and Chemical Techniques” in Jena, Germany, is offering 8 PhD fellowships beginning in January 2012. Students holding a Master’s degree (or equivalent) in molecular biology, ecology, entomology, microbiology, chemistry, biochemistry, neuroethology or zoology, with a proven record of success in one of the disciplines and interest in examining ecological interactions are eligible to conduct a doctoral project within the IMPRS.

The Research School is a joint initiative of the Max Planck Institute for Chemical Ecology, Friedrich Schiller University, Jena, the Leibniz Institute for Natural Product Research and Infection Biology, and the Leibniz Institute of Plant Genetics and Crop Plant Research. The main focus is on plant-herbivore interactions; other ecologically relevant topics are also investigated. The IMPRS gives doctoral students the possibility to prepare for their doctoral degree in a 3-year structured program providing excellent research conditions. The degree will be granted by the Friedrich Schiller University, Jena. The courses are held in English.

Eligibility: Candidates should have a MSc in engineering (or will graduate in the near future – documentation for final thesis and date of examination must be enclosed in the application) or a similar degree with an academic level equivalent to the MSc in engineering. Good knowledge of wind turbine models, control theory and power system simulation tools, e.g. PowerFactory, PSS/E, etc. is expected. Experience within the wind power industry is an advantage.



Scholarship Description: This PhD project will focus on the coordinated control of wind power plants (WPPs) and energy storage systems. The project will investigate the feasibility of smoothing the power output from WPPs by coordinated control. Sizing for energy storage systems will be studied on top of the coordinated control of WPPs if they are needed to help smooth the power output of WPPs.The scholarship for the PhD degree is subject to academic approval, and the candidate will be enrolled in the PhD programme at DTU and in parallel at the Graduate University of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
