Info Beasiswa Description: The Leonard Berlin Scholarship in Medical Professionalism is intended to support study and research related to medical ethics, medico-legal principles, patient accountability, sensitivity to patient diversity and/or other topics encompassing medical professionalism. The scholarship may be used for study at or outside the scholar’s parent institution, and is open to radiologists at all stages of their careers. The ARRS Research Committee may select up to one scholar annually. Scholars may choose either a one-year program requiring a minimum 50 percent time commitment to be funded at $100,000, or a two-year program requiring a minimum 25 percent time commitment to be funded at $50,000 each year. Up to $20,000 of the funds may be used in a way that will contribute to the scholar’s development and professional advancement, such as tuition and course materials, with the remainder to be used towards salary support. The money may not be spent for the purchase of equipment, or imaging studies. Indirect costs may not be paid from this fund. The scholarship is funded through The Roentgen Fund of the ARRS and made possible in part by support from Dr. Leonard Berlin. The scholarship funds will be paid to the Scholar’s Department. Payments will be made semi-annually on July 1 and January 1 for one-year scholarships, and annually on July 1 for two-year scholarships

Robin devoted much of her spare time to the Laurier University Charity Kouncil (LUCK) and, despite having some very serious health issues, managed to make the Dean’s Honour Roll in her final year. The position is integrated in the subproject ‘Elucidation of anaerobic benzene and alkylated aromatic compound degradation pathways and associated proteins by proteomic and metabolomic analyses’. The project aims to detect key proteins and metabolites involved in anaerobic benzene and alkylated compound degradation. Methods used will include anaerobic cultivation, protein preparation and LC-MS/MS analyses of proteins (LTQ Orbitrap MS). The detection of the active species and the catabolic enzymes in enrichment cultures will be carried out by Protein-Stable Isotope Probing (Protein-SIP) experiments (Jehmlich et al., 2010, Nature Protocols, 5,1957-1966). A total metabolomic screening of the culture as well as specific CoA-Ester identifications will be performed by Q-TOF MS or LTQ Orbitrap MS.

Apa Saja Cakupan Beasiswa Prestasi Bosowa?
Beasiswa Prestasi Bosowa adalah beasiswa penuh (full scholarship). Adapun besaran beasiswa disesuaikan dengan perguruan tinggi dan daerah tempat kuliah masing-masing penerima beasiswa. Beasiswa ini diberikan untuk jangka waktu tidak lebih dari 9 semester akademis S1.
Beasiswa penuh diberikan yang mencakup hal – hal sebagai berikut :
1. Biaya pendaftaran ke perguruan tinggi dimana pendaftar telah diterima.
2. Biaya SPP/BOP setiap semester sesuai dengan nilai yang telah ditetapkan oleh perguruan tinggi yang bersangkutan.
3. Uang saku untuk mendukung biaya hidup selama masa kuliah.
4. Tunjangan buku untuk pembelian buku yang dibutuhkan selama masa kuliah.
5. Tunjangan penelitian, untuk mendanai penelitian yang dilakukan saat masa akhir kuliah.
Siapa Saja yang Dapat Mendaftar?
Penerima Beasiswa Prestasi Bosowa adalah siswa/siswi tamatan tahun pelajaran 2009/2010 SMA/sederajat yang lulus atau diterima di salah satu jurusan dari perguruan tinggi yang ditunjuk oleh Bosowa Corporation khususnya untuk kelas reguler melalui Sistem Penerimaan Mahasiswa Baru (SPMB/UMPTN/UMB) yang dilaksanakan oleh pemerintah ataupun Perguruan Tinggi yang bersangkutan.
Persyaratan umum untuk mendapatkan Beasiswa Prestasi Bosowa:
1. Warga Negara Indonesia
2. Memiliki nilai akademik minimum rata – rata 8.0 selama masa SMA/sederajat.
3. Pada saat pengajuan lamaran beasiswa, tidak sedang mengikuti kuliah di Perguruan Tinggi manapun.
4. Merupakan siswa/siswi tamatan tahun pelajaran 2009/2010 dan mendapatkan rekomendasi dari sekolah masing-masing.
5. Setelah lulus pada tahap seleksi, para finalis harus diterima di salah satu Perguruan Tinggi serta fakultas / jurusan yang ditunjuk oleh Bosowa Foundation khususnya untuk kelas reguler melalui Sistem Penerimaan Mahasiswa Baru yang dilaksanakan oleh pemerintah ataupun Perguruan Tinggi yang bersangkutan.
Bagaimana Seleksi Beasiswa Prestasi Bosowa Dilaksanakan?
Untuk mendapatkan program beasiswa ini, siswa/siswi berprestasi harus memenuhi persyaratan yang diajukan oleh Bosowa Foundation dan lulus pada tahapan penjaringan dan pada akhirnya lulus atau diterima di salah satu jurusan dari perguruan tinggi yang ditunjuk oleh Bosowa Corporation. Ada tiga tahapan seleksi yang harus dilalui oleh calon penerima beasiswa, yaitu tes potensi akademik dan tes psikotest/wawancara. Tahapan akhir adalah seleksi SPMB/ UMPTN/UMB.
Pada setiap proses seleksi yang dilaksanakan, panitia seleksi Beasiswa Prestasi Bosowa Foundation akan mengumumkan hasil seleksi dengan menghubungi peserta seleksi yang dinyatakan lulus. Informasi diberikan baik secara langsung melalui telepon dan maupun melalui sekolah yang bersangkutan. Panitia seleksi tidak menerima korespondensi selama proses seleksi berlangsung.

Pengumuman/informasi mengenai peserta yang berhak untuk mengikuti Seleksi I (Tes Potensi Akademik) akan dihubungi melalui telepon dan informasi ke sekolah masing-masing.
Tes Potensi Akademik dilakukan untuk mengukur kemampuan potensi akademik peserta yang dilaksanakan di kota-kota tertentu yang dipilih berdasarkan efektifitas jarak tempuh tempat pelaksanaan seleksi dengan kota/daerah peserta seleksi. Info Beasiswa PhD Scholarships ~ Two PhD International Scholarships in Organic Synthesis and Organometallic Chemistry at the Department of Chemistry BMC, Uppsala University, Sweden 2011
Info Beasiswa Description: The Ph D student is expected to carry out advanced research in synthetic organic chemistry, including performing transition metal catalysis and advanced organic synthesis. The position will also include writing research reports and manuscripts for publication in international journals. Thus, the candidate must have very good knowledge in written and spoken English. The candidate will broaden his/her perspective and knowledge of synthetic organic chemistry, and transition metal catalysis by taking graduate courses in relevant subjects and to teach as well as participate in general departmental work such as instrument maintenance etc to a level corresponding to a maximum 20% of the employment time.
Eligibility:
To qualify for a Ph D position the applicant must have at least a Master Degree with a Major in Chemistry. We are looking for a devoted, motivated, and hard-working candidate willing to work in a stimulating research field. Furthermore, the candidate should have a deep interest in synthetic organic chemistry.

-Has commenced studying a full-time undergraduate academic program at Griffith University ? Is under the age of 21
- A permanent resident of Gold Coast, Queensland
- An Australian citizen or Permanent Resident
- Responses to statements in Section 2: Personal Statement. Your Application will not be considered unless you address this criterion.
-Be prepared to attend two meetings of the Rotary Club of Gold Coast in 2012/2013 and to speak briefly at one of these meetings

Scholarship Description: The Scholarship is a perpetual scholarship funded by The Rotary Club of Gold Coast and is awarded annually in accordance with these guidelines to a student who has fulfilled the selection criteria. The scholarship will be awarded to a person who has overcome significant personal adversity while achieving entrance to university, and demonstrates a mature approach to study. One scholarship to the value of $9000 is available, credited through part payments of $1500 per semester ($3000 each year over three years, paid in person at a nominated Rotary Meeting). The Scholarship may be extended, suspended or revoked in accordance with the Regulations and Conditions. The Club will retain the right to withdraw the Scholarship. The Selection Panel holds the right to not award the Scholarship in any given year if in their opinion there is no worthy candidate

Applicants shall have a Master’s Degree or corresponding (Sw. civilingenjörsexamen) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Automation and Mechatronics Engineering, Engineering Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Applied Math, or a related discipline. As for all PhD studies, a genuine interest and curiosity in the subject matter and excellent analytical and communication skills, orally as well as literally, are needed.
Scholarship Description: At the Department of Signals and Systems, we conduct world-leading research in biomedical engineering, antennas, signal processing, control, automation, mechatronics and communication systems. Our research deals to a large extent with the modeling and development of efficient systems for extracting and processing information. Systems our researchers deal with include for instance e-Health, hearing aids, robotics, power chains, and mobile telephony. The department has about 120 employees, divided into three research divisions and one administrative unit. A majority of our activities are gathered at campus Johanneberg, except for some research in medical engineering which is done at Sahlgrenska and an education unit at campus Lindholmen. The department offers more than 70 courses, of which are most included in the Masters Programs; ”Biomedical Engineering”, ”Systems, Control and Mechatronics”, and ”Communication Engineering”.
