Eligibility:
(a) Be a Maltese citizen who has been residing in Malta for the past five (5) years. Provided that for the purposes of calculating this 5 year requirement, consideration shall not be given to such period of time during which such Maltese citizen has been residing outside Malta for study, health or work purposes or any other purpose which the Board may consider, or
(b) Be a Maltese Citizen who is a worker or self-employed person in Malta, or
(c) Be a national of an EU/EEA state or a family member of such EU/EEA national (as defined in LN 191 of 2007 and in LN 205 of 2004 respectively for EU and EEA nationals), provided that such person has obtained permanent residence in Malta in accordance with LN 191 of 2007 and in LN 205 of 2004 respectively for EU and EEA nationals, or
(d) Be a national of an EU/EEA state who is in Malta exercising his/her Treaty rights as a worker, selfemployed person or person retaining such status in accordance with LN 191 of 2007; or
(e) Be a third country national who has been granted long-term residence status under LN 278 of 200

Eligibility:
You are a resident AND national of one of the countries on the country list (not necessarily the same country for residence and nationality).
Please note that candidates must reside in one of these countries at the moment of application.
You are not older than 40 years* if you apply for a scholarship to follow a master programme. Or you are not older than 45 years* if you apply for a scholarship to follow a training programme. (* on 1 January 2012).
You have the required English proficiency.
You need a proof of at least 1 year of comprehensive English-based instruction at a university or recognized equivalent.
If not, a TOEFL test is required with a minimum total score of 550 on the paper based test (PBT), or 79 on an internet based test (IBT); or an IELTS test with a minimum overall band score of 6,5; or a proof of another test of similar level as TOEFLE or IELTS.
Professional experience and employment perspectives are not required for a master programme, but they can be a competitive advantage for selection, depending on the programme.
Present employment or reintegration perspectives are required for a training programme.
The candidate must be currently employed or have a written (future) employer’s guarantee of (re)integration in an employment where the acquired knowledge and skills will be immediately applicable.
Earlier applications and scholarships: You do not apply for more than one VLIR-UOS scholarship a year.
You have never received a master scholarship funded by the Belgian government before.
You are only admissible for a training programme scholarship if you have not received a VLIR-UOS scholarship for a training programme before.

Scholarship Description: VLIR-UOS awards scholarships to students from Africa, Asia and Latin-America to follow a training or master programme at a Dutch speaking university or university college in Belgium. The eligible training or master programmes are taught in English. They are designed for people in positions of responsibility in civil society.

Info Beasiswa Description: Every year, talented students from across the United States who share one dream—to have a successful career in designing and making jewelry—look to MJSA to help them make that dream a reality. And thanks to the MJSA Education Foundation Scholarship Group, the association can help them to do just that. The Scholarship Group consists of five permanent endowment funds managed by the Rhode Island Community Foundation on behalf of MJSA and the Foundation. Money generated by these funds provides support to students enrolled in jewelry design, jewelry making, or other jewelry-related degree programs at colleges, universities, and technical schools throughout the United States. Several awards of $500 to $2,000 are given every year.

Eligibility:
You will need to have achieved a final GPA of at least 3.4 (equivalent of a B) in your undergraduate degree. Application is open to those who have already been offered a place on a full-time MA, MMus or MLitt programme in the UCD College of Arts and Celtic Studies for September 2012 entry. You will need to be fully registered to the Masters programme in the College from 10 September 2012.
Info Beasiswa Description: For 2012-13, the UCD College of Arts and Celtic Studies will operate a competitive graduate scholarship scheme. This is designed to assist those students likely to be most affected by recent changes to graduate funding provision in Ireland. To be eligible for the scheme, you must be in receipt of a full CDVEC grant covering the cost of your fees for an MA, MMus or MLitt (full-time) in the College of Arts and Celtic Studies in 2012-13. In the case of MLitt students, please note that these awards are tenable for one year only. Up to fifteen graduate bursaries worth €1,000 euros each will be awarded to eligible applicants who have achieved the highest GPAs in their undergraduate degrees.
